Common questions
What does "hands-off hosting" actually mean?
It means the server stays up, SSL renews, and your domain stays registered — without you touching any of it. You do not log into a hosting panel. You do not get emails about PHP versions. The site just runs.
What does $60/year actually cover?
Hosting, .com domain registration or management, and SSL. That is all. No management fee, no monthly invoice.
What is a change request?
Anything you would ask us to do on a full-service plan — a copy update, a new image, a layout change, adding a page, removing something. Same scope of work. One request, one $60 charge, done.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Foundation is $60 per year, flat. There is no monthly management component. If you need a change, you pay $60 for that request. If you do not need any changes, the $60 covers the year and you are done.
Do I own the site?
Yes. You own the code. Ask for a zip at any time and host it anywhere. No lock-in.
What do you mean by "server-driven features only while active"?
Forms, analytics tracking, and similar functionality require an active membership to stay running. If Foundation lapses, these features stop working — not as a penalty, but because there is no active service to maintain them. Your site itself stays live during this time, but the interactive pieces need a current membership to function.
What about SEO?
Foundation does not include active SEO work. The site is built on solid foundations — fast, mobile-first, structured data — but there is no ongoing optimization, content strategy, or ranking work. If you want that, Web Presence at $149/mo is the plan that covers it.
Can I switch to Web Presence later?
Yes. If you decide you want ongoing management, unlimited changes, and active SEO, we can move you to Web Presence. Email us when you are ready.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes — BYOD is supported. Details on how transfers and delegations work are being finalized. Ask us before purchasing if you have an existing domain you want to bring.
How do I request a change?
Email us or use the contact form on this site. Describe what you need, we confirm price, and we do the work. Same scope as full service, billed per request.
Need ongoing changes and active SEO?
