Claim or verify if unclaimed
We start the claim process (postcard, phone, video verification — whatever Google sends), transfer ownership if someone else set it up years ago, or pursue reinstatement if it’s suspended. You give us the access you have; we handle the rest.
Categories and services list
Primary category locked to what you actually do (pool cleaning, pool repair, openings and closings, pool cover install, etc.). Service list rewritten around the work you actually want calls for — not the boilerplate Google pre-fills.
Hours and service area
Hours corrected. Service area drawn to your real coverage, not the whole county. Closed-day annotations where they apply.
NAP consistency check
Name, address, phone checked against the major surfaces that feed the GBP (Apple Maps, Bing Places, Yelp, Facebook, BBB where present). Mismatches get a one-page “fix this list” sheet at handoff so you can sweep them yourself or hand to a VA.
Photo upload pass
Up to 25 photos from assets you provide (work shots, truck, before/after, team, equipment). We do not shoot or generate photos; you provide the assets, we upload, tag, and arrange them.
Primary Q&A seed
Six to ten of the most-asked homeowner questions for your trade, seeded into the GBP Q&A section so the first thing a searcher sees is the right answer. (Ongoing Q&A monitoring is GBP-Only; this is the seed only.)
Review-request text template
A short, plain-English text template you can send to past customers the day after a job. One copy-and-paste block. No CRM, no automation. If you want the ongoing campaign and tracking, that is GBP-Only.
Handoff sheet
A one-page “you’re in charge now” note: how to publish a Google Post, how to reply to a review (what to say, what not to say), how to keep hours correct, how to handle the next Q&A that comes in. After delivery, the profile is yours. We remove our manager access.
Out of scope: ongoing biweekly posts, quarterly photo refresh, continuous Q&A monitoring, websites, BBB/Yelp/other directories, paid ads, social media. After handoff, no ongoing support unless you join GBP-Only or a monthly plan. If you want the GBP kept current month to month, that is GBP-Only at $99/mo — we will not undercut it to sell you this.
Claim vs refresh: same deliverable, different starting line
If your GBP is unclaimed or suspended
The project starts with the claim or reinstatement. That part is Google-dependent — postcards can take a week, video verification a few days, suspended reviews longer. We start the claim on day one and finish the rest of the work as soon as Google releases control.
If your GBP is claimed but stale
The project is a refresh. Wrong hours, old photos, thin service list, no posts in a year — we move fast. Typically 5 to 10 business days after we have your intake and your photos.
In both cases the price is $397. We’ll tell you during intake which path you’re on.

Intake form
A short form: business name, current GBP URL (if any), services you offer, service area, hours, photos you want uploaded, anything you know about the current state of the listing.

Claim or audit
If unclaimed, we start the Google verification flow. If claimed, we audit the listing end to end and write the work plan.

Refresh
Categories, services, hours, service area, photos, Q&A seed, NAP check, handoff sheet — all aligned for Map Pack.

Handoff
You review the listing. If something is off, we revise. Once you’re happy, we remove our manager access. You own the profile from there.

The profile is yours. Use the handoff sheet for posts and review replies. If you decide later you want it managed month to month, GBP-Only is a one-click move — and you do not pay for the setup twice.

This SKU is one GBP per purchase. For multiple listings, GBP-Only at $99 per location or Web Presence + Directories ($399/mo, which covers all of them) is usually the better fit.

Common questions about GBP Setup & Refresh
What if my GBP is already claimed by someone else — a past marketer, a former employee, the listing “owner” I can’t reach?
Tell us during intake. We will work the transfer through Google’s verification flow. Most transfers resolve in 1–3 weeks; we start the refresh as soon as you have control back.
What if my GBP is suspended?
We pursue reinstatement on Google’s standard flow. Some suspensions clear in days; some require a video verification call or supporting documents (utility bill, photos of the truck at the address, etc.). We walk you through what’s needed and start the refresh once reinstated.
Do you shoot photos?
No. You provide the assets — work shots, before/after, truck, team, equipment. We upload, tag, and arrange them. If you want professional photography as part of the engagement, we can refer you to a pool-industry photographer; that is a separate engagement.
How long does it take?
Refresh-only is typically 5 to 10 business days after intake and photos arrive. Unclaimed or suspended profiles: claim timeline is Google-dependent (postcard / phone / video verification can add days or weeks). We start the claim on day one and finish the refresh as soon as Google releases control.
What happens after handoff?
You own the profile. We remove our manager access. The handoff sheet covers the basics: how to post, how to reply to a review, how to keep hours current. After that, you run it.
Is ongoing support included?
No. After handoff, no ongoing support unless you join GBP-Only ($99/mo) or a monthly plan. The handoff sheet covers the most common tasks. If you want ongoing management — biweekly posts, quarterly photo refresh, Q&A replies, review-request tracking — that is GBP-Only, and we will not pretend the one-time setup covers ongoing work.
Can I move to GBP-Only later?
Yes. GBP-Only covers everything that was in your GBP Setup & Refresh (so the work is preserved — you do not pay for it twice) and adds the ongoing cadence. Move up at any time; pro-rated on the next billing cycle, no setup fees.
Does this include a website?
No. This is the Google Business Profile only. If you want a one-time website, the Starter Kit ($697) is the matching SKU. If you want a website AND managed GBP, Web Presence ($199/mo) bundles both with monthly changes and hosting.
